NCLEX AI Opens Public Beta on iPhone and Android

NCLEX AI — an AI-powered NCLEX-RN study coach with nearly 6,000 verified practice questions, learning games, and a real-time readiness score — is now free to join in open beta on both iOS and Android.

NCLEX AI is now in open beta on both iPhone and Android — and it's free to join. The AI-powered study coach for nursing students is available to anyone preparing for the NCLEX-RN, the licensure exam every U.S. registered nurse must pass.

If you're studying for the NCLEX right now, you can install it today:

Or, if you'd rather kick the tires first, you can answer three real questions right on our homepage — no download, no sign-up.

What NCLEX AI is

NCLEX AI is a native mobile study coach that adapts to you. Most prep tools hand you a giant static question bank and a timer. NCLEX AI watches where you're strong and where you're shaky, then steers your practice toward the topics that will actually move your score — and tells you, honestly, when you're ready.

It was built by a small team using modern AI tooling, with one obsession: question quality. NCLEX prep lives or dies on whether the questions and rationales are correct, so that's where we put the work.

What's inside

Adaptive practice, mapped to the 2026 test plan

More than 5,900 practice questions span all 8 NCSBN Client Needs categories, weighted to the 2026 NCLEX test plan — including Next-Gen NCLEX (NGN) case studies and item types, so nothing on exam day feels unfamiliar. An adaptive engine prioritizes your weak areas and the questions you haven't yet mastered, instead of showing you the same handful over and over.

A question bank built — and verified — differently

Here's what sets NCLEX AI apart. The bank wasn't hand-typed or scraped — it was assembled and quality-checked with a multi-agent AI pipeline, where every question is independently reviewed for clinical accuracy by a separate AI pass before it ever reaches a student. That same process audits the existing library on an ongoing basis, correcting or pulling anything that doesn't hold up. The goal is simple: when the app says an answer is right, you should be able to trust it.

Learning games

Seven learning games — including Care Cascade (a clinical match-style game) and MediSearch (a definition-first word search of must-know nursing terms) — turn active recall into something you'll actually keep coming back to. Studying shouldn't feel like a punishment.

A weekly coach in your inbox

Every Sunday, NCLEX AI turns your study data into a short, personal briefing: how your readiness moved, where you shined, the one area to focus on, and a concrete plan for the week ahead. No vanity metrics — just the few things that matter.

A readiness score that tells you when you're ready

The Green Light score (0–100) blends how much you've practiced, how accurate you are, how deeply you've covered each area, and how consistent you've been — into one honest answer to the only question that matters: Am I ready?

And more

Spaced-repetition flashcards, a full-length predictor exam with a pass-likelihood estimate, and daily study reminders you control.

How to join — free

NCLEX AI is free to join during the open beta, on both platforms:

Create a free account and start studying in about a minute. A Pro tier with unlimited adaptive practice, the full NGN library, and all games is on the way — but beta is the best time to jump in and help shape the app.

A note on the name

NCLEX AI is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCSBN, which develops and administers the NCLEX. "NCLEX" is a registered trademark of its respective owner. We're nurses and builders making the prep tool we wish we'd had.

Ready to study smarter? Join the beta on your phone, or try three questions first. We'd love your feedback — it's shaping what comes next.
